Job Title:  Business Technology Consultant

Location: Phoenix, AZ

 

Position Summary:

 

Business Technology Consultants provide technology analysis, advice and solutions to organizations based on their business plans.  Through a partnership with our clients, the Business Technology Consultant will assess the business’ current technology, strategic planning and processes.

 

They will provide analysis of this information with recommendations to improve them with technology solutions.  They will support and implement technology infrastructures to maximize performance, reliability and security. 

  

Responsibilities:

 

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• The ability to work independently or with a team

• The ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues remotely and in person onsite.

• Research information system issues and propose resolutions.

• Design and recommend technology solutions that will create efficiencies

• Document technology process and procedures

• The ability to prioritize and provide professionalism during high pressure circumstances

• Identify issues and resolve or redirect to the appropriate resource

• Recommend technology solutions that will create or increase efficiencies, reliability and security

• Train clients and/or team members

• Available to travel and work some nights and/or weekends

 

Experience:

 

• 1-5 years minimum of technical consulting experience

• Experience with Microsoft, VMware, Cisco is required.

• Valid Microsoft, VMware, Cisco or Security certification is preferred

• Prefer a degree in the Information Technology or related field

• Experience with project and process documentation

• Experience leading projects and training

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
